Our annual butterfly release was a beautiful and meaningful event, filled with touching moments and community involvement. 

• Event Details: The butterfly release gathered 110 participants who came together to release 125 painted lady butterflies back into their natural habitat.

• MC and Readings:

  • Executive Director, Mary Marshall: Acted as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event.

  • Reading "Butterfly Kisses" by John F. Conner: This was likely a heartwarming moment, considering the theme of the event and the symbolism of butterflies.

• Musical Interlude:

  • Jim Adamchick (Violinist): Played the violin, enhancing the atmosphere as participants found their special spots at the wetlands to release their butterflies. 

• Post-Release Gathering: After the butterfly release, attendees enjoyed coffee and snacks, providing a relaxed and communal atmosphere to reflect on the experience and enjoy the beautiful summer day.
